When Santa Rosa City Schools embarked on the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), they sought a partner with proven expertise. They chose TadHealth for its experience with CYBHI and user-friendly platform tailored to K-12 schools. This collaboration enabled swift access to mental health service reimbursements, reducing administrative tasks for staff and allowing them to focus more on student care.

Exeter Unified School District discusses the challenges it faces in providing mental health services to students and how the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) will help it solve these challenges. Overwhelmed by CYBHI, Exeter Unified School District turned to TadHealth to help it navigate its complexities and provide a simple-to-use platform for its school mental health professionals.

The CYBHI capacity grant allows schools to access funds to improve mental services. This capacity grant includes funding for extra staff, technology, and infrastructure. The deadline for the CYBHI capacity grant is January 31, 2025.

The CYBHI initiative enables Exeter Unified School District to bill for all behavioral health services to all students throughout the district. Carol Swanson and Marlaine Jensen discuss why they chose TadHealth to help them manage reimbursements as they prepare for Cohort 3.

California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is publishing this video as an introduction to the statewide multi-payer school-linked fee schedule for behavioral health services and school-linked behavioral health provider network, which are a part of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI). The video may be used as an informational resource for local educational agencies as they consider applying to join the provider network and utilize the fee schedule.
